Orange County Mourns Deaths of Five Teenagers Killed in Automobile Accident

On October 4, in an early morning automobile accident, five teenagers were killed  near the 5 and 133 Freeway interchange. The teenagers were traveling on the 5 Freeway when the 1995 BMW they were in veered off the freeway and burst into flames. The teens were returning from Knott’s Scary Farm, a Halloween event at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park. Covina Police Mourn the Loss of an Officer as They Investigate the Accident

Covina Police Officer Jordan Corder, 28, was killed in a collision with an SUV on Citrus Avenue at Puente Street. Corder was thrown from his motorcycle when he collided with a Honda CRV as it was making a left turn. Corder was transported to Citrus Valley Medical Center, Inter-Community Campus where he later died. The 75-year-old woman driving the SUV was transported to the same hospital. The auto accident in June involving a tractor trailer truck driver for Walmart and a limousine carrying comedian Tracy Morgan is back in the news.
